Choosing a treatment

Common questions about which treatment to choose, downtime and results. Every plan starts with a consultation with Sophie.

All FAQs
How do I know which treatment is right for me?

Start with a consultation. Tell Sophie what you'd like to change in your own words — you don't need to know treatment names. She'll review your health history, assess your skin and features, and explain which options may suit you, if any. Read more about how your plan is built.

What's the difference between botulinum toxin and dermal filler?

Botulinum toxin temporarily relaxes the muscles behind expression lines, such as frown lines and crow's feet. Dermal filler restores volume and contour, for example in the cheeks, lips or jawline. Some people benefit from one, the other or both — our guide to the differences explains more.

Which treatments work gradually?

Some treatments build results over weeks or months: Sculptra® biostimulation over 2–3 months, PRP over 4–6 weeks, skin rejuvenation progressively over several weeks and hair restoration over 3–6 months. Results vary from person to person.

Is there downtime after treatment?

It depends on the treatment. Botulinum toxin usually has no downtime; dermal filler may cause swelling or bruising for a few days; scar treatment can cause bruising and swelling for about a week; and fat dissolving can cause swelling and tenderness for several days. Each treatment page lists what to expect.

How long do results last?

It varies by treatment and by person: botulinum toxin about 3–4 months, dermal filler 6–18 months depending on the area, and Sculptra® up to 2 years. Skin, PRP and hair results are maintained with a series and periodic sessions.

Can I combine treatments?

Often, yes — many plans combine treatments that address different concerns, such as expression lines and volume loss. The order and spacing are decided individually at your consultation. Learn how personalized treatment plans work.
